A Great Puppy training tip
Setting a foundation for a great recall (come) when you call your puppy will guarantee your dog will come to you when you call her. When you say your pup’s name, follow with a great treat or fun toy. Start close to the pup, then move to longer distances. Don’t repeat dog’s name over and over and over expecting the pup to understand what you want when you haven’t taught the pup to look at you when she hears her name. Yelling the pup’s name to stop unwanted behavior will create a pup he leaves you when she hears her name.
