Ashley Castro
has been working with dogs professionally since 2004 and started at All
Dog Adventures in 2008. An agility enthusiast, Ashley competes in various venues. Her
dogs also hold titles in rally, and are members of the All Dog tricks team. She shares
her household with “Wyatt” RL1 ITD CGC – a senior mixed breed that started her
training journey, Sheltie "Gossip" that recently joined the family and Border Collies “Zen”
OA OAJ PD RL1 ITD CGC and up-and-coming agility dog “Solo” NA NAJ ATD CGC.
Ashley teaches agility classes at All Dog and loves the “aha!” moment a student has
when they’ve truly learned something. Dedicated to bringing the best instruction to her
classes, she participates in routine continuing education with top agility handlers. In
2014, Ashley founded a successful non-profit organization, Eastern Herding Dog
Rescue, where she serves as President. She also started a USDAA agility club along
with fellow instructor Sarah called "To the ResQ!" Outside of the dog world, Ashley
hikes, spends time adventuring with friends, and plays video games.
